Описание[1]
Стебло: Единично или на група, сферично до яйцеобразно, до 7 см диаметър и височина, синьо-зелено
Мамили: конични, с размери 20х15 мм
Радиални бодли: 15, горните са прибрани към тялото, долните са завити навън, с дължина 1,5 см, жълти
Централни бодли: 0 (-4) с дължина до 2 см, жълто-сиви
Цветове: до 7 см, жълти
Отглеждане:
Бавно растящи, непретенциозни към почвен субстрат растения. Поливат се рядко, но обилно. Цъфтят през седмата си година.Нуждаят се от директно слънце за да запазят компактен вид и гъсти бодли. През зимата се държат напълно сухи при температури 3 - 12 °C. Издържат на краткотрайни застудявания до - 10° C.
Размножаване: От семена или издънки.
Болести: Сравнително издържливи растения.
