Описание[1]
Наречена на чешкия кактусар и изследовател Карел Крацек, който пръв е изследвал и описал вида в местообитението му.
Единични кълбовидни до късо-цилиндрични кактуси, до 9 см широки и до 17 см високи. Тялото е матово сивозелено. Мамилите са закръглени, до 16 мм широки и до 24 високи, наредени в 5 или 8, понякога в 8 - 13 реда.
Централните бодли са 5 до 8, най-дългият до 25 мм, другите малко по-къси, всички извити надолу и заострени. Отначало черни с по-светли върхове, после посивяват.
Радиалните бодли 24 - 26 бр., долните 7 - 9 наредени радиално, по-яки, до 15 мм дълги, светли до рогови с по-тъмен край. Горните 12 - 17 заедно насочени, по-тънки, до 25 мм дълги, бели с тъмен връх, а после сиви.
Цветове: Лимонено-жълти фуниевидни, 4 - 8 см широки, жълти с дълбоко червеникаво гърло, отварят се на върха на растението.
Плодът е сочен маслиненозелен, до 15 мм в диаметър, 25 мм дълъг, с прикрепен остатък от цвета.
Семената са бъбрековидни, кавяви, 1 на 1.8 мм, лъскави и ретикулирани.
Този вид вероятно е по-силно ободлена форма на Coryphantha difficilis.
Отглеждане:
Този вид е лесен за отглеждане, но не трябва да се преполива и се нуждае от почва с добър дренаж. Умерено поливане през лятото, през зимния сезон се засушава. Директно слънце до лека сянка.
Размножаване: от семена и чрез присадки.
