Описание [1]
Стебло: Обикновенно единично, цилиндрично или конично, до 9 см диаметър и до 30 см височина, синьо-зелено до сиво-зелено
Мамили: конични, с размери 2х2 мм
Радиални бодли: 8-12, прави, разперени, с дължина до 1 см, бели
Централни бодли: 1 (-3), леко завити надолу, с дължина 1-1.5 см, кафяви
Цветове: 2-3.5 см широки и 2.5-3 см дълги, бледо-жълти до бели
Отглеждане:
Бавно растящи, непретенциозни към почвен субстрат растения. Поливат се рядко, но обилно. Цъфтят след осмата си година.Нуждаят се от директно слънце за да запазят компактен вид и гъсти бодли. През зимата се държат напълно сухи при температури 3 - 12 °C. Издържат на краткотрайни застудявания до - 10° C.
Размножаване: От семена или издънки.
Болести: Сравнително издържливи растения.
