Стебло: плоско-сферично, до 8 см диаметър и до 5 см височина, синьо-зелено, прави групи с общ диаметър до 30 см
Мамили: конични, с размери 10-14х20 мм
Радиални бодли: 10, прави, бели, с дължина 0.5-1.5 см.
Централни бодли: 1, само при по-възрастни растения; завършва с кука, завита надолу; кафяв; с дължина 0.5-2 см
Цветове: до 4 см широки и до 3.5 см дълги, жълтеникаво-бели
Отглеждане:
Бавно растящи, непретенциозни към почвен субстрат растения. Поливат се рядко, но обилно. Цъфтят през деветата си година.Нуждаят се от директно слънце за да запазят компактен вид и гъсти бодли. През зимата се държат напълно сухи при температури 3 - 12 °C. Издържат на краткотрайни застудявания до - 15° C.
Размножаване: От семена или издънки.
Болести: Сравнително издържливи растения.
