Описание[1]
Стебло: Единично или на туфа, плоско-сферично, до 10 см диаметър, синьо-зелено
Мамили: конични
Радиални бодли: 20, прави, жълти
Централни бодли: 3, два по-къси разположени в горната част на ареола; долният по-дълъг; завършват с кука, тъмнокафяви до черни, с дължина 1,5-2 см
Цветове: бледо лимонено-жълти
Отглеждане:
Бавно растящи, непретенциозни към почвен субстрат растения. Поливат се рядко, но обилно. Цъфтят през шестата си година.Нуждаят се от директно слънце за да запазят компактен вид и гъсти бодли. През зимата се държат напълно сухи при температури 3 - 12 °C. Издържат на краткотрайни застудявания до - 10° C.
Размножаване: От семена или издънки.
Болести: Сравнително издържливи растения.
