Колоновиден кактус, образуващ групи, произхождащ от Боливия
Стебло: Колоновидно, понякога пълзящо, зелено, достига до 100 см на височина и до 5 см в диаметър.
Ребра: 14-18.
Ареоли: Покрити с жълтеникаво-кафяв филц
Бодли: 30-40, игловидни до 4 см на дължина, от бледо-кафяви до светло-жълти или бели.
Цветове: Тръбовидни, преливащи от червено-розово към лимонено-жълто, до 5 см дълги и до 1 см в диаметър.
Отглеждане
Лесен за отглеждане. Използвайте обогатен субстрат за кактуси при пресаждане, подсигурете добър дренаж. През лятото растението се чувства добре както на частична сянка, така и изложено на преки слънчеви лъчи. Полива се редовно и обилно. Издръжлив е на засушавания. През зимата се държи напълно сух в светли и проветриви помещения при температури над 10 °C.
Размножаване: От семена и резници.
