Описание [1]
Произход: Боливия, Перу.
Стебло: Колоновидно, разклонено, понякога пълзящо, до 1.5 м на височина и до 10 см в диаметър, светло зелено.
Ребра: 14-16
Бодли: 13-22, златисто-кафяво-оранжеви, тънки, космоподобни, достигат до 3 см на дължина.
Ареоли: Покрити с жълтеникаво-кафяв филц.
Цветове: Перести, фуниевидни, ярко червени, достигат до 3 см на дължина и до 2 см в диаметър.
Отглеждане
Много лесен за отглеждане при домашни условия кактус. Нуждае се .от добре дрениран и пропусклив субстрат за кактуси. През лятото се полива редовно и обилно. Издържа на преките слънчеви лъчи, но се чувства добре и на лека сянка. През зимата се държи при минимална влажност на почвата, може и напълно сух, в светли и проветриви помещения при температури 10-12°C. Толерантен е към краткотрайни слани и застудявания до -3°C.
Размножаване: Чрез семена и сегменти.
