Описание[1]
Стебло: Единично, плоско-сферично, 12 см диаметър и 7,5 см височина, зелено до бронзово
Ребра: разделени на мамили, спираловидно разположени.
Радиални бодли: 14, долните 7 са лъчисто разположени, горните 7 са четинести, бели.
Централни бодли: 4, горните три с дължина 3-5 см, най-долният с дължина 7 см, сино-кафяви
Цветове: до 4 см широки и до 3 см дълги, бели-бледорозови
Отглеждане:
Не толко лесни за отглеждане растения. Цъфтят към осмата си година при подходящо отглеждане. Нуждаят се от богат на хумус субстрат. Поливат се по-рядко, но обилно. Нуждаят се от директно слънце, за да запазят компактен вид и дълги бодли. През зимата се държат напълно сухи при температури 3 - 15 °C на най-слънчевото място. Издържат на краткотрайни застудявания до - 5° C.
Размножаване: От семена.
Болести: Страдат от фузариум и други гъбични болести. Най-често се разболяват зимата.
