Описание [1]
Стебло: Единично или на туфа, сферично до яйцевидно, 6 см диаметър и 5 см височина, тъмно-зелено
Мамили: конични, с размери 10х10 мм
Радиални бодли: 15-18, прави, преплетени, с дължина до 1,6 см, бело-сиви
Централни бодли: 0-1, прав, тънък, с дължина 1,6-2 см, черен
Цветове: до 3.5 см широки и дълги, бледо-жълти
Отглеждане:
Бавно растящи, непретенциозни към почвен субстрат растения. Поливат се рядко, но обилно. Цъфтят през седмата си година.Нуждаят се от директно слънце за да запазят компактен вид и гъсти бодли. През зимата се държат напълно сухи при температури 3 - 12 °C. Издържат на краткотрайни застудявания до - 10° C.
Размножаване: От семена или издънки.
Болести: Сравнително издържливи растения.
